Opposition comes in many forms, some legitimate concern based on what has been said or told, other times it is out of malice where someone has either been rejected or ejected by the craft.

All in all, most opposing views are based on mis-information, mis-understanding, mis-interpretation and not the facts regarding Freemasonry.

At Freemasonry Universal we are passionate about bringing you information, correct and factual information, regarding Freemasonry. We also want to be unbiased as possible and for this reason our opposition section was created.

In this section you will find the numerous claims, assumptions and mis-understandings out there. A long side this you will always see factual information, recorded and mostly checkable by anyone, that provides you with the reality of the issue.

To try and help you navigate, find and source your information this section has been divided up:

General: simply odd questions and claims people have asked and made

Religious: concerns/claims/opinions made by those in positions of authority in faith

Groups: same as religious but from groups not of a religious nature

Individual: those who make continued attacks and slanderous comments toward Freemasonry

Other: things we don't really know where to place
